Final idea for thriller opening

We have finally come up with our plans for the thriller opening. It will consist of a girl, and a mysterious man.
Firstly we will see the girl suddenly wake up during the night, we will then see random shots of a manly figure walk into the house. we then see the girl go to check the time, and realises it is still dark outside.
We then carryon seeing random shots of the manly figure walking up the staires getting closer and closer to the girl. This creates suspense in the scene as the audience must wait to find out who the suspicious figure is.
We then see the girl, walk toward the bathroom with a cup to fill it up with water. after collecting her water she looks into the mirror, we suddenly see the suspicious figure opening the door and grab the girls shoulder. Instantly hearing the girl scream and her cup smashing onto the ground.
This in my opinion is a good opening as it leaves the audience in suspense, as they try to figure out whether the figure was a serial killer or even just the girls relative?
