Source Code

source code starts off being filmed from a helicopters view, it shows a shot of New-York and then moves into a smooth shot of a train. The camera is then led onto the train where the main actor Jake Gyllenhaal is sleeping. He then suddenly awakes, and has a look on his face which tells the audience that he is confused. The shot lasts around 14 seconds which also helps the audience to understand the confusion in the character.
The shots then lead onto fast paced shot, making the scene more thrilling and exciting for the audience. It also allows for the audience to watch his anxiety in the scene, reflecting his experiences with us.
